Grand Final Day 5 (17/01/2020) -

The NCIC 2020 Grand Final Start was initially delayed due to rain. The Match was played between New South Wales and South Australia. New South Wales we're looking to complete their 'three-peat', while South Australia were looking to defeat the defending champions.

The toss was won by New South Wales and they sent South Australia into Bat first. South Australia's first wicket partnership lasted until they scored 95 runs, when Ahmed was run out on 32, after facing 24 deliveries. South Australia continued their good batting performance until Haskett was also Run Out. Palmer Top Scored for the South Australians with 70 runs off of 50 deliveries. New South Wales were set a target of 124.

South Australia struck first with an early wicket, running out Leets for 0, NSW total of 2 Runs. However sadly for the South Australians this was the last of their success this innings as New South Wales, led by Heaven (53* off of 33), and Stubbs (55* off of 34), chased down the total in 11.2 Overs.

New South Wales defeated South Australia by 9 Wickets.

Well Done to everyone that participated, congratulations to New South Wales for winning their third Championship in-a-row, and a huge thank you to every volunteer, player, supporter, coach, and umpire for their hard work. As well as a massive thanks to the City of Greater Geelong for hosting the Championships.
